Volunteer with us

What we do
Our Gardening Groups are friendly, free and take place weekly, all-year-round on sites across Leeds.

Our Community Gardening Volunteers get the chance to grow their own food and flowers, gain and share skills, and learn about horticulture whilst improving their health and wellbeing in the local environment. All levels of knowledge and experience are very welcome!

Why volunteer with us?
  • Improve your health and wellbeing
  • Get outdoors and connect with nature
  • Learn new skills
  • Meet new people
  • Give back to your community and the local environment
  • Have something positive in your weekly routine

Volunteer benefits
As well as Gardening Groups, we also run all sorts of exciting events each year for our Volunteers. These include day trips, educational workshops, sports days, seasonal celebrations and much, more more.

We can provide bus passes for eligible Volunteers.

Extra info

We promote informal peer-support within our groups, sharing experiences and supporting one another in a sustainable way.
Staff are not able to offer one-to-support in these groups, if you need extra support in the garden, please contact us to discuss this.

If you have any questions or if you’re not sure whether Community Gardening is for you, feel free to get in touch!

You can fill in our registration form online, or email us for more info.
