Meet the staff team...
Pete
Project Director Pete joined in 2013, he keeps a million plates spinning and is still as cool as a cucumber! He leads on developing new projects, building a city wide movement around our aims and developing our Strategy, ensuring we have strong Governance as well as supporting the staff team. 
Alex
Design & Build Coordinator Alex joined in 2017 and works on the Design & Build project, transforming community spaces and up-skilling volunteers in the process. Working with sustainable timber and creating things of functional beauty. 
Gemma
Design & Build Coordinator Gemma joined the team in 2019, she has brought a wealth of design skills and works with Alex responding to community requests, creating bespoke designs, project managing and helping to practically transform spaces too! 
Kelly
Outdoor Education and Community Development Coordinator Kelly joined the team in 2021, she welcomes, inducts and supports volunteers across the projects to make sure they have a good time at Hyde Park Source. She also coordinates the Healthy Holidays project providing food and fun for children across Leeds during the holidays. 
Trills
Outdoor Education and Volunteer Coordinator Trills joined the team in 2023 and is our Volunteer Co-ordinator, being the first port of call for new Volunteers and organising all sorts of events to bring everyone together. They also help to co-ordinate and deliver our Healthy Holidays programme in the school holidays. |
Behla
HR and Community Garden Coordinator Behla joined in 2014. She leads on HR - making sure we have the right systems in place to support our staff and Volunteers, and Governance - how we hold ourselves accountable and stay true to our values, as part of the Core Management Team. She is also on the delivery team and facilitates Community Gardening groups and is Forest School trained - bringing a multitude of skills and experience! 
Claire
Community Garden Coordinator Claire joined the staff team in 2018, after volunteering with us for two years. She facilitates 4 of our Community Garden groups. Bringing her knowledge and infectious passion for nature, and the benefits it can bring us all. 
Lizzie
Finance Coordinator Lizzie joined us in Feb 2020, and keeps track of the finances and makes sure we're rolling along smoothly. You might not see her out and about much as she's usually busy working away on spreadsheets in the office! 
Fran
Office and Operations Coordinator Fran joined the team in early 2026, using her previous experience as a charity CEO to help support the smooth running of the organisation. She's passionate about charities and the vital role they play in society, and is a big believer in the need for strong systems and processes that allow the magic to happen. |
