​Our skilful and friendly Design & Build team can work with you and your community to transform any outdoor space, big or small.

Over the past 25 years we have developed hundreds of Community Gardens (in schools, colleges, public parks and for a range of 3rd sector organisations).

We enjoy consulting with communities using our
permaculture design process, creating bespoke designs which reflect each groups' individual ideas, knowledge and suggestions.

Design & Build 

• We work across Leeds and the surrounding area.
• We are a not-for-profit organisation meaning any surplus goes directly back into the organisation.
• You will be directly helping up-skill more Volunteers through our training courses and community groups.
• We provide competitive prices but with the additional benefit of being a socially-just organisation.
• Our designs and creations are built to be long-lasting, durable and beautiful.
• Our timber is grown locally & processed in a family run  sawmill.
• It is sustainable and local, we don't have to transport it from afar, we know working standards are good and the woodlands are managed well. 
• The wood has a naturally high resin content & natural properties, it doesn't need any chemical treatments    (making it safe for food growing, children and wildlife).​

   ​​Our Design Process 

Survey - we will come visit you and spend time discussing your user focus, ideas and goals as well as surveying the area ready to create a bespoke design proposal.
​
Design - our design team produce a design package for your space along with plans and images to show how your space might look. We work with you to adjust your design until it is right for you.

Custom build - the elements that make up your space will be handmade by our build team and volunteers ready for installation. The time scale of your project depends on its size and complexity

​Aftercare - all our elements have a 10 year guarantee. we provide a maintenance and planting care plan where required. We pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our clients and we are always available to support with maintenance.
