We are involved in a number of networks and projects linking our organisational aims to a wider movement of
organisations and individuals all working together to affect positive change.

Climate Action Leeds is a network that is working for a zero carbon, nature friendly, socially just Leeds by the 2030s.

They are doing this by mobilising communities, campaign groups and different sectors to plan and act together.

We are members of the steering group and advocate for nature and communities.

  •  ‘Developing a pathway towards urban co-production for disused land in Leeds’   Principal Investigator: Paul Chatterton - School of Geography - University of Leeds.  July 2024
    • Through our experiences over the past decade, it has become clear that there is not a clear process for Communities to access Leeds City Council land for nature-based projects – especially when it is not Parks land. We are working as part of the research team to help influence policy change within LCC to make processes easier and clearer. This has expanded to include the Community Asset Transfer policy review, as well as trying to support the creation of a better framework that LCC tenants of buildings and land can use to have a more equitable partnership with LCC. Public Civic Partnership.
