St. Mary's Rooftop Garden

St. Mary's Rooftop Garden is part of the Live Well Leeds project and is run in partnership with Leeds and Yorkshire Housing Association. 

We meet every Friday afternoon.

As well as many vegetable beds, there is a long border of soft fruit, a polytunnel and a beautiful, colorful wildflower meadow.

As it says in the name, the garden is on a rooftop and feels like a whole world of its' own. Each week, a friendly group come together to maintain the garden, exercise, enjoy the outdoors, harvest the crops and be in good company. We garden in a way that encourages wildlife, doesn't harm the planet and is good for us too!
