Volunteers

Volunteers have supported the work of HPS since it began in 1998. HPS recognises the vital contribution that volunteers make.We value this contribution and are committed to follow good practice and guidelines. It is our intention that volunteers feel both comfortable and confident in their role. We appreciate commitment to the work of HPS and for the time and energy given to the organisation. We support volunteers in getting experience working with young people, shadowing or delivering their own workshops, finding suitable training and jobs. They will also develop practical skills in construction and visual arts.

We have spaces for two volunteers per day. These volunteers are recruited to assist staff in the support of the young people on the youth projects.
