A lovely card and letter from Bankside Primary to say thank you for the Butterfly House !
Our first year on the Killingbeck project has drawn to a close, what a great year it has been. The last couple of sessions have been lovely we have been winding up for the winter but the weather has been on our side. We have had more fireside food and hot chocolate!
All our tools are now stored safely in the community shed, we made a practical yet beautiful tool board with willow pegs whittled down by the young folk and hammered into the holes. They made it really clear where each tool should go by painting the tools silhouette.
We had a real end of year celebration with friends and family invited the plot had never been so busy. We made hot chocolate on the rocket stove. While this was going on everyone had chance to leave comments and ideas on a feedback tree and idea line.
We are really excited about this project and are working hard to get continuation funding sorted. It will be sad not to be there on Thursdays for the next while but everything is in place for when we return. Thanks everyone who has participated!
Ready for the arrival of the Rosebank Rangers - today's activities are jam making on the rocket stove and leaf bashing - (Hapa Zome)
