GROWING FOR COLOUR
This project is in partnership with Leeds Industrial Museum and is part of the Outdoors Active and Well project.
We run a weekly gardening session every Thursday 2-4pm.
We are developing the garden into a Colour Garden, a feast for the eyes where we are growing a range of plants for their visual colour and in some cases their dying properties too!
The main aims of the group are to transform the garden, take part in something active and fun and feel good about it! Some people in the group have grown things before, some haven't - we're all learning and everyone is welcome. The group is very friendly with space for digging and chatting.
We have achieved a lot but we take it at our own pace, and tea breaks definitely are a key part of the group!
We were awarded Bronze for Leeds in Bloom 2019!
